Hello Everyone!

I'm Jynxit and I love working out and eating. So the problem with that is I often eat a lot more then I burn or life decides to throw me curve balls and I end up not working out that day. I created this blog with the intention to create a place where people can come together to help inspire each other to push themselves to their limit and find a new height every day. With our world today, we are often much to busy to cook for ourselves, to get to the gym, to sit and have some "me" time. I know as a nursing student and a ROTC cadet, I am always busy trying to excel in what I do and reach my goals, I forget about myself and what I need to be even better.
A lot of people will look at me and say "You don't need to loose weight, you're fine! You're pretty! You're good! I wish I look like you." But honestly? That's just because I'm really good about hiding my extra baggage that I don't need. People today are having all sorts of health problems that can be directly tied into what they eat and how much they exercise and weigh. As sad as it is, a lot of us spend most of our days sitting down in front of the computer busy at work or at school, come home to grab something quick to eat, then sit some more to do homework, finish projects or just because we are too tired out to do anything else. I get that. I'm the exact same way. But, I don't want to be like that anymore. I want to be better than that for myself, my body and my mind. I truly believe that overall wellness and health is a triangle; lost one side it doesn't work anymore and affects your whole system. The mind, body and self. The mind is hugely important in anything you do; it is the driving force. I honestly believe the mind is powerful enough to do whatever it is you think you want to do; you just have to trust it, make a plan and do it. The body is the carrier. It's a machine that dreams to be worked. Before the days of electricity, computers, long days at work, we slept when the sun went down because we couldn't see anymore and woke up when the sun came back up because it was the start of a brand new day. We walked miles every day because there were no such things as cars. We worked hard to grow or gather food or hunt and that cost us energy. Then we sometimes didn't get enough to eat. Yet, our bodies maintained itself and carried us through it all. Nowadays, we hear all kinds of illnesses that, I think, are man-made. Obesity. Type II Diabetes. Plaques in the heart. They weren't even heard of because we were healthier back then than we are now. Finally, self. When we look in the mirror we are all guilty of talking ourselves down. We can be so cruel to ourself. Self is another word for spirit. I am not a religious person, but I do have faith that there is someone up there who oversees all. Spirit can also mean belief in yourself. Do you believe in yourself? Why not?
I'm hoping through this blog and with you, to travel together to re-balance ourselves. It's a never ending journey, but I think it's one that we have waited too long to start and one that is 100% worthwhile. I hope to succeed with you guys! Let's do this.
